Linda E

Hiiii, I’m Linda E.I am a London-based actress, presenter, and model of British-Nigerian heritage. My career has taken me from the CITV Kids Awards to fronting global campaigns for Apple and Adidas, and most recently, to a lead narrative role opposite Benedict Cumberbatch in The Therapist.
My journey began at age eight as a presenter for the CITV Kids Awards. Since then, I have transitioned into major television and digital spaces, notably appearing on BBC1’s This Is MY House for an audience of 1.8 million. My digital presence includes leading episodes for BuzzFeed UK’s Seasoned, amassing over 3 million views, alongside credits for Amazon Prime’s The Sofa and tech presenting for Curry’s.
As a model and commercial lead, I have fronted global campaigns for Apple (AirPods Pro 3), Adidas (with billboards in Times Square and Tokyo) and Peloton, My campaign photos for GHD graced the pages of Vogue, and I’ve led projects for Sweaty Betty, F&F, No7, and American Express. I am deeply committed to body positivity and diversity, bringing infectious energy to every set.
Before transitioning fully into acting, I spent years in community radio, interviewing elite talent such as Burna Boy, Kano, and Tinashe. This period forged a long-standing partnership with Supermalt, for whom I frequently host live events. My early performance foundation was built on the stages of The Young Vic, the Edinburgh Fringe, and New York City through singing and street dance.
I am a disciplined athlete with a background in powerlifting—boasting a personal best deadlift of 135kg. This physical strength is balanced by expertise in high-fashion movement and movement in heels.
Beyond the screen, I am a committed advocate for Parkinson’s UK, focusing on awareness within the Black community, and I actively support the Terrence Higgins Trust. I am dedicated to bringing authenticity, infectious energy, and a commitment to diversity to every set I step on.

Linda E on Commercial Modelling: How I Built a Sustainable Career as a London-Based Commercial Model
If you’ve searched my name online, you may have seen me described as a London-based presenter, actress, host, and commercial model.
That’s accurate — but what often gets left out is how I built a sustainable commercial modelling career, working with major global brands, and why I now teach others how to do the same.
In this post, I’m breaking down what commercial modelling really looks like behind the scenes — and why I created my ebook to help aspiring and working models navigate the industry with confidence.
My Background in Commercial Modelling and Presenting
I’m Linda E (Linda Egwuekwe) — a freelance presenter, actress, host, and commercial model based in London.
My work spans:
I’ve worked with major brands including Adidas and Apple, as well as companies across fitness, beauty, tech, finance, and lifestyle.
Commercial modelling has been a key part of my career — not as a one-off, but as a long-term, repeatable income stream.
What Commercial Modelling Really Is (and Who It’s For)
Commercial modelling is about representation and relatability.
Unlike high-fashion modelling, commercial modelling focuses on:
That’s why commercial models appear in adverts for gyms, banks, supermarkets, tech platforms, and beauty brands.
If you’ve ever thought:
“I don’t look like a model”
You’re often exactly who commercial brands are looking for.
How I Built Longevity as a Commercial Model
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that commercial modelling is a business, not just a creative pursuit.
Longevity comes from:
These are the skills that allow you to keep booking over time — rather than burning out after a few jobs.
The Reality of Commercial Modelling Castings
From self-tapes to live castings, the commercial modelling audition process can feel confusing if no one explains it to you.
What most people don’t realise:
Learning how to interpret castings correctly is essential — especially if you want to stay confident and consistent.
Why I Wrote My Commercial Modelling Ebook
I created my ebook because I kept seeing the same gaps in information.
Aspiring models kept asking:
The ebook breaks down how to get signed, booked, and paid in commercial modelling, using the exact strategies I’ve applied throughout my own career as a London-based commercial model and presenter.

Who This Commercial Modelling Ebook Is For
This ebook is ideal if you are:
It’s especially useful if you want to understand both the creative and business sides of commercial modelling.
Final Thoughts from a London-Based Commercial Model
Commercial modelling is far more accessible than many people realise.
With the right information, positioning, and mindset, it can become a sustainable career path — or a flexible income stream — alongside presenting, acting, content creation, or everyday life.
If you want to learn how commercial modelling actually works — from agencies and castings to contracts and getting paid — you can find my ebook here:

We had the pleasure of working with Linda E during our third THIS IS BOXING event. She was always very punctual, professional and full of great ideas, eventually taking lead of the creative direction in key aspects of our overall production.
She displayed great confidence and experience in presenting and brought the best out of our guests and all of the boxers/team members she interviewed. We strongly recommend.

It was such a pleasure having Linda E host the Tech Leaders awards. She had such a great bubbly presence on stage and the audience loved her, she basically had them eating out of her hands. She was so easy to work with and completely professional and hardworking. I would certainly hire her again to host another upcoming awards ceremony.

Linda Egwuekwe has been part of the BUFF family since 2016 when she attended her 1st BUFF awards ceremony at Hilton Tower Bridge. Over the past 3 years, the Pulse 88 radio presenter has interviewed prominent filmmakers, actors and actresses from the urban independent scene. In 2019, she served as co-host of the BUFF awards for the 1st time, sharing duties alongside Actor and filmmaker Femi Oyeniran. This year’s 5th annual ceremony took place at Met Film School, Ealing Studios where her professionalism and effervescent presenting style shone through. Having known Linda for over 2 decades, I can vouch for her bright and bubbly personality. Behind her infectious smile lies a mental toughness and strong work ethic. Linda can be trusted to get the job done and is well respected by her industry peers.
